Just before half term we held our Year 13 Leavers’ Day which began with a final Mass which was held at Our Lady’s. This was followed by an assembly and prize giving which celebrated their time in the Sixth Form. Refreshments were kindly provided by the PFA.
These events mark the formal end of their time with us at St Joan’s although they will always be part of our community, wherever they go and whoever they become.
It has been a privilege to work and support these young people, most of whom have been with us for 7 years and some have joined us more recently, but I hope they all feel proud of their achievements, academically, socially and spiritually. They have been an inspiration to us all and we wish them every success in the future.
