All Extra Curricular Activities run at St. Joan of Arc are open to all pupils throughout the year and there is a comprehensive fixture programme involving District, County and National Competitions. All Extra Curricular training takes place after school and will usually be completed by 4.30pm to 4.45pm. When competing in a midweek fixture pupils will be transported too and from the fixture.
Our Saturday morning fixtures of football and rugby for the boys will start at 9.00am and when necessary transport will again be available. Usually returning to school around 12.30pm depending on where the fixture is taking place. Any pupils requiring the bus for these Saturday fixtures is asked to sign up in the PE office by the Thursday of the week of the fixture. The mini bus will depart school at 8.30am sharp!
Parents are welcome to watch and support their son/daughters competing at fixtures afterschool and we have strong and positive relationships within the local district and in the county built over numerous years focusing on respect and sportsmanship from both the pupils and the supporting crowds. With our main aim to provide pupils, both from our school and others, with a safe and enjoyable environment within which to experience competition, and obviously win as often as possible!
