This feast is usually on the 8th of December, but because this date fell on a Sunday it has been moved to the 9th this year.
The saving grace of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection can travel through all time and space!
This is a big mystery of the Church – well done if you can grasp it!
Let us thank God for the grace attained by our Baptism and how we can return to this state of grace by the Sacrament of Confession & Reconciliation.
Let us pray that we would consent to God’s saving grace.
O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin
prepared a worthy dwelling for your Son,
grant, we pray,
that, as you preserved her from every stain
by virtue of the Death of your Son, which you foresaw,
so, through her intercession,
we, too, may be cleansed and admitted to your presence.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
